ADOPTION OVERVIEW & PROCESS
Thanks for your interest in adopting or fostering a rescued bull terrier. We are very careful considering applicants. We interview, check references and conduct a home visit. We following this process for the safety and welfare of the bull terrier and the public. Our primary concern is finding the best match for a forever home for the bull terrier.
STEPS
1. In order to be considered, we need to first learn about you and your environment, starting with an adoption application.We keep your application confidential, do not share any info. without your permission.
2. Please read the entire application and consider if you are ready to make the commitment. If so, we ask you complete the entire application and return it. Put N/A or explain any blanks. Email the application back to the address on the application. We hope to have this process more streamlined as we update our website in the future. Thank you for your patience in the interim.
3. Once we receive your application, someone will call you to follow up, to conduct a phone interview. We are all volunteers, most with family & work responsibilities, so please allow up to 5 days for us to receive your application and contact you.
4. If we both decide you could be a good possible home, we will check all references next, including any landlords, or current vets you list.
5. We then will schedule a home visit at a time when all family members and pets are present. This helps us to evaluate a good fit, now or in the future for you and the bull terrier.
6. We then are ready to discuss any Bull Terriers who may be a good match. Or we have you ready, waiting for the right Bull Terrier to come along. We then contact you about the adoption.
